    Everybody loves a Barolo; they’re complex, juicy and packed with flavour. They’re also blinking expensive, so the Viberti team have hit upon the cunning ruse of using the same grapes – Nebbiolo – to make a wine with all the red fruit flavours and lip-smacking tannins of a Barolo, but at a third of the price!

    Steel tank/barrel fermentation : Steel tank fermentation followed by Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature.

    Bottle/cask ageing : The wine is then stocked in stainless steel for 9-10 months after which the wine is moved into wooden barrels (steamed oak) for extra 2-3 months before bottling. A further 3 months in bottle before release.

    Colour : Light ruby red.

    Serving temperature : 16-18°C

    Food match : Apéritif. Pizza, pastas, white meats & salads
