Tasting Note

When not sipping 1664 in Beaune’s Bar 66, Pascual Arnoux is perfecting his delicious red burgundies. This Chorey is feminine in style and very soft. Perfumed with floral notes and red fruits , these characteristics continue on the palate. Tannins are supple yet the wine retains an acidity that makes it very food-friendly. (Will)

The Producer

Domaine Arnoux

Originally founded in 1858, the Domaine Arnoux Pere et Fils has been making wine for five generations of superior winemaking. The Domaine passed down from Rene, the grandfather, to Michel and Remi, and is now run by Pascal who took over in 2008. Pascal Lachaux became part of the family team in 1990. As the son-in-law of Robert Arnoux, Pascal went on to lead the business in 2008 with the help of his wife Caroline. The domaine is dedicated to quality with an organic approach. He has also experimented with thicker staves and less oak to insure a slower oxygen exchange. Pascal’s passion and talent for winemaking have led to rapidly increased success over the last six years for the Domaine Arnoux.
