Tasting Note

From Tejo in Northern Portugal, this is delicately aromatic on the nose with heaps of sun-warmed ripe apple flavours and floral notes. Zippy acidity from heaps of citrus lead to a rich creamy mouthfeel on this really fresh and moreish wine.

The Producer

Quinta da Lagoalva

The estate Quinta da Lagoalva is part of a region of unique natural beauty extended in the south bank of the river Tagus. In 1846, the Quinta was inherited by the second Duke of Pamela, a Portuguese nobleman, and since then, it has remained in the possession of the descendants of the Duke. The family’s commitment to wine dates back to 1888 and today the 45 hectares of vineyards are planted with the best Portuguese and international varietals expressive of its unique terroir.
