Tasting Note

Plum, blackcurrant and cranberry aromas burst from the glass. The palate is juicy and fresh with soft red fruits and a hint of green pepper. A really easy drinking Merlot.

The Producer

Tierra Alta

Eric Monnin is originally from France and spends his time between Chile and the Rhône as a consultant winemaker to a range of wineries advising them on every aspect of the process, from when to harvest, right down to the final blend. With a first degree in physics, chemistry and biology from Besançon University, and a Masters in Oenology from the University of Reims, he knows his stuff. His experience at the Champagne House, Louis Roederer, and later in Burgundy shines through when you see him in action.
