From the charismatic, wild-haired Xavier Amirault, this is a bright, crunchy Cabernet Franc with lots of minerality and freshness. Super smooth and very juicy, you can serve it chilled and it will work perfectly with a rare roast beef sandwich. (Nick)
90 Decanter points - Highly Recommended.
"Biodynamically farmed, 35-year old vines on a sandy-gravel, clay-based soil show Touraine's Cabernet Franc variety at its charming best: black cherry with crunchy, red summer berry fruit lifted by a light layer of tannins" Steven Spurrier, Decanter
