Tasting Note

Deep red in colour with bramble and baking spices on the nose. Baked autumnal fruits dominate the wine, with a slight dryness from the well integrated tannins balancing out the richness of the fruits. The pepperiness adds another layer of complexity to this delicious wine.

The Producer

Domaine Coursodon

For four generations the Coursodon family have been making exceptional Saint Joseph from their 15 hectares of organic vineyards surrounding the town of Mauves. Pierre’s son, Jérôme, has taken this famous estate to new heights with his real focus on qualiy. Lower yields, later picking and 100% de-stemming have contributed to richer, more succulent wines and greater purity of fruit.
