Tasting Note

This gorgeously pink rosé is made premoninantly from pinot noir (plus barbera) and is filled with sweet red berry flavours and soft floral notes, balanced by a refreshingly dry, crisp quality. Sure to be a hit, especially when paired with blue skies and sunny summers!

The Producer

Il Cascinone

The Il Cascinone estate was founded in 1920, primarily producing Barbera d'Asti wine. It is situated on hilly ground with steep vineyards. The estate gradually fell into disrepair, before the Araldica Group took over in 2001 and embarked on a restoration project to renovate cellars and replant abandoned vineyards. The new facility opened in 2004, consisting of 102 hectares on a single plot of land in the Municipality of Acqui Terme. It remains an excellent estate for the growing of Barbera grapes.
