The Producer

Domaine Yves Cuilleron

Domaine Yves Cuilleron was founded in 1920 by the eponymous Yves' grandfather, Claude Cuilleron. It has remained a family business ever since, with the estate passing to Yves' uncle, Antoine, before he took over running it in 1987. Despite having always loved good food and wine tastings, he didn't always aim to get into the wine business, thinking instead of becoming a mechanic. However, during military service in Alsace, he visited many restaurants and wine tastings with his friends and, in his words, 'really caught the wine bug!' When his uncle retired, leaving no successor, and Yves' parents considered selling the estate, he jumped at the chance to join the family business.
