Dampt is one of the top producers of the region and his quality shines through all his wines. This Village Chablis is from vines of up to 40 years old offering plenty of clean crisp fruit notes of green apples and citrus. A line of minerality makes this very refreshing indeed. (Nick)

Domaine Sébastien Dampt
The Dampt family has been making wine in Chablis for over 150 years and have three domaines under different family names: Domaine Sébastien Dampt, Domaine Daniel Dampt and Domaine Vincent Dampt. After learning from his father Daniel and brother Vincent at Domaine Daniel Dampt (and with stints around the world including Chablis’ famous Domaine Laroche and a vintage in Australia), Sébastien created Domaine Sébastien Dampt in 2007 and has been winemaker there ever since. UK critic Tim Atkin has named Domaine Sébastien Dampt on his list of the ‘Top 25 best value producers’, so it is definitely one to watch!
