Tasting Note

A juicy and approachable sangiovese. The blackberry, red and black cherry fruit is ripe and fragrant while the acidity keeps the wine fresh and vibrant on the palate.

The Producer

Cortonesi

Cortonesi have been an active part of driving quality in Montalcino since 1962. Three generations have worked at the winery where Tommaso Cortonesi is currently the owner. The vineyards lie in two of the most valuable areas of the hill, both north and south-east of Montalcino. Their first own-labelled vintage dates back to 1990.
