Portugal has impressed us again. Winemaker Anselmo is recognised as one of the country’s finest white wine producers, known for his experimentation. This wine has had some skin contact and is a great example of his skill. The ripe stone fruits balanced with a lively acidity make it seriously moreish and an excellent wine to pair with food.
We offer a delivery service to most UK mainland addresses using either our own drivers or a courier. We can deliver beyond the UK mainland but will need to quote you a price for this via email or phone.
Our standard delivery charge is £10 inc. VAT for orders of under £100 to a single address in most parts of the UK mainland. Delivery is free for orders of £100 or more to one address in most parts of the UK mainland.
We will deliver your wine within 5 working days of receipt of your order although many of our deliveries are done within 3 days. If you have a deadline by which you need the wine, please let us know in the delivery instructions when you check out.
We require the goods to be signed for upon delivery unless you provide us with alternative delivery instructions which you can opt for when placing your order online.
We are confident that you will love our carefully chosen wines, but if you don't, or if your wine is faulty (e.g. corked), we will credit you without question. Please notify us within 30 days of receipt of your order and we’ll also credit you for the bottle you tried originally.

Aselmo Mendes began producing wine from Alvarinho in 1988 in Moncao and Melgaco. His winery is based in the Minho Valley and acts a place for experimentation and research. The philosophy is to make each wine as an expression of the land with a mark of character. Anselmo now acts as a consultant winemaker across Portugal - in Vinho Verde, Alentejo, Douro and Dao - always trying to bring out the best character of each region in his wines.
