Shopping System:
Our website allows you to purchase wines, beers and water for delivery to any UK mainland address. Our payment gateway is operated by PayPal and is completely secure. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

You do not need an account number or a password to order from us. You simply register online when you proceed to the checkout.  Once you are registered with us, your details will be stored and you can return to our website at anytime to make a purchase.

Although the site is fully secure for credit card payments you may prefer not to pay online in which case you can email or phone us on 020 7352 4083 during office hours to place and pay for your order.

The Vintner Guarantee:
If any wine that you receive from us is faulty (e.g. corked), we will credit you without question.  We’ll also credit you if you simply don’t like the wine.  In the case of you not liking the wine, please notify us within 30 days of receipt of your order and we’ll also credit you for the bottle you tried originally.

Ordering Terms & Conditions:
In accordance with UK law you must be 18 years or over to place an order with us. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If our drivers or couriers are in any doubt of the age of the recipient they will ask for some form of ID. If they are then not satisfied the recipient is of legal age they are not permitted to leave the wine.

All goods are offered subject to availability and remain the property of The Vintner until payment is received in full.

Wine Prices and availability:
Unless marked otherwise, all wines, beers and waters are priced ‘Duty Paid’ and include all shipping costs to most UK mainland addresses.

The prices for wines marked ‘In Bond’ exclude Duty and VAT.  In all cases the cost of delivery to you is additional.

We currently only show wines on our website that are in stock and available for immediate dispatch.  If you know of other wines that are published in our printed list or that you have come across before, please telephone us on 020 7352 4083 or email us at [email protected] and we will do what we can to assist with your search.

If we have insufficient stock to fulfill your order we will notify you within 24 hours and recommend an alternative wine.  If you choose not to accept our recommendation we will refund all or part of your order immediately.

Sale or Return
We offer sale or return for large orders, specifically for parties and events.  This must be agreed with us in advance by calling 020 7352 4083 or emailing .

Gifts
You can purchase wine for delivery to an alternative address and our online ordering system will allow you select a ‘gift order’ and include a personalised message.  We will confirm to you by email when the order has been dispatched.

If you would like to place multiple orders on our website, please enter each order separately into the system.
